A Matchless Bloom of Love
Uniquenes of Cadena de Amor
Upon my graduation in College, I brought it at home together with the other hanging plants given to my by my close friends.
I graduated in 1980 and got married in 1981. We temporarily live with my parents, since we got no permanent job yet. Upon our business opportunity for agricultural Products, we settle in our own and have this residence that shelters us until this date. My mother knew my fondness in plants, so she brought few of my collections in our new home. We housed the in an old coffee tree. Among these plants was the Cadena de Amor that I bought before my graduation in College. I was familiar with other plants, but not this mentioned plants.
Sometimes in 1987, I was about to register to my home town. I met my teacher in Grade VI, Mrs. Olania Ali Abdul. I spotted the same plant in her garden. It was she who made mention that this plants is named, Cadena de Amor, meaning...Chain of Love. She offered to have one and educate me on how to reproduce them. I was really wise. I am keeping the plants for almost a decade but I was not able to find it name. My teacher allow me to have as many as I like, since she has incredible number of it. I got only two of its buds.
When I returned home, I tried to follow the instructions in reproducing more of it. I hanged them in any part of the trees that surrounds our house. I have so many of them, but when we shifted for another business in 1994, my plants were left unattended, which included this plant. The other plants did not survived but a very limited number of this plant remain in the branch of Cacao tree.
I retired in having business now. My children have it instead. I enjoy with my profession as teacher. I have to find what plants that awaited my return. This plants were among other, patience enough to wait for me. I have almost 20 of them now, and the other were brought to our school to add the beauty of our school garden.
Recently, I noticed the blooms of this plants. I have recalled the the origin of it and the values that it brings to me. The chain of love that happens to me, from my college life to this date that I am already a Grandma of four was exemplified by this plants. The bunch of flowers that strongly hold each other defines our well-built family relations.
From my being a College girl to being a faithful wife, later a mother and now a grandmother, this plants keeps reminding me of my past...my joys, my struggles, my fondness and my success of being a mother. Those were things worth remembering.

My pet is getting matured
We have two female cat. The other one is Miming. Miming has three times aborted. Th daughter really worries about it. To this time, there was no sign that Miming will be pregnant again. I suspect that this cat has probem, similar to us human. Her reproductive system might be at risk. This is the reasons why we give extra care to other female cat...intman.

My best, guarding Mode in Writing
Intman, one among my five cats, who shows her loyalty even in my busy mode of writing.
She always stays on top of my monitor. I know that this monitor give extra comfort and warmness.
One sure of her, being really clever was she can recognize my move. She knew when is the time for meal, so she will went down and accompany me to the kitchen. After my meal, she waited to her quarter to receive her share.
With only short sun beating, she will return and continue scrutinizing her poise on top of my monitor.
At night, she will accompany me to bed. She always stay in my right side since my hubby is beside me at the left. I usually go to bed before midnight to observe my sleeping habit. If she did not noticed me, while I shut down my computer, I will call her name and she directly move to our bed.
Sometimes, I feel uneasy with her extra movement, interrupting my mode in writing, I commanded her to shift to another place. She will understand when I'm irritated to her position. She will jump from the monitor and climb on top of my cabinet.
I do not have a hard time to check her presence because she chooses only two favorite place in my room. With my exposure to the internet, I found out that other surf-net lovers have also fondness in cats. I don not know how true, but mostly, writers always acknowledge their cats in writing. I am one of them. Cat lover!

The secret of Black cat
My mother once told me that it is very dangerous to adopt a black cat because they so sensitive about the health of their master. Now a days i observed the same to my black cat named " Intman". She never missed a day for having me at night. I found out that she still stay with me but prefer to sleep on top of my cabinet. When I got sick and still refused to sleep with me, I remember the incident of my older cat. I noticed her unusual action. She always sleep and never play with the other cats. As if she was worrying for something.
the belief on adopting black cat according to my mother has serious explanation. The two incidents seems to prove to me that black cat has secret. There is another beliefs related to a black cat..." When it crosses on the road before a journey give a bad signal of accident". This beliefs were believed by the majority.

What Nature can Bring
This how our "tambis fruit-bearing tree look. It bears a heart-shape-sour fruits. I really cannot find specific word for U.S. English word. In our locality, we plainly call it "Tambis". The bearing of this tree usually 2 to 3 a year, depending on the season. During rainy season, its flowers were aborted causing it to bear flowers again. But in a dry season, or just fear weather, the fruits multiplied.
It is under this tree that my garden at home are protected. Some plants do not like too much exposure to sunlight. As a remedy, I aligned them to this area. orchids and other ornamental plants grew faster under this shade. The shade of this tree is intersected by tiny twigs of star apple-fruit-bearing tree. We can expect fresh air and scent of flowers.
During weekend, we family gather under this shade and enjoy eating its fruits. When bust days do not permit, we only pick the ripe ones, as they fall early in the morning. We need not reach the ripe fruits, they fall when they matured.
This tree did much history to our family. When my boys were in their Elementary grades, they can have money for this. They sold the fruits to retailer store and can have 200-330 pesos out of it. Now a day, they are no longer boy but fathers, we just have the fruits for fun because the image really entertained us. By merely glancing at its fruits, my day is fill with joy.
August is the season of bearing. Hence, we divert our attention to it when not busy.

Adoration and admiration of Butterfly

butterfly is best image for a perfect love and care. but, for its sincerity and commitment to a serious relationships,i doubt if we can prove one.
I really have fun watching number of butterflies in my garden. With a just limited time, I can see them almost kissing and smelling a tiny petals of my flowering plants. I have asked my self sometimes, which flower they like most, but I have not proven one. I only observed their discomfort when they touch the flowers. They have to flip their wings up and again and then fly to another flower. With just seconds, I can see them returning with the usual ceremony. i giggle myself and turned around to check if somebody might be watching and regard me as idiot. I can't help it but really laugh aloud. I have a proposal in mind that butterflies are not sincere as to a relationship.only a smell, a touch of their wings can satisfy them in every visit. What amazed me is their fondness on fresh and colorful flowers. I'm sure they got the best idea for they cannot stay long with an old petals. They might fall somewhere together with the fading scent of the flowers. I did not tempt to have have the possibility that their adoration for flowers requires a span of time.Perhaps they know when to admire the pollen grains of flowers. If other creatures are identical with these behavior, no relationship will last for a week or month. I dislike the distinctive character of these insect, needless to think that this will happen to each of us. Relationship with a conditional admiration only and not love need not to be valued because of the absence of sincerity.
Fine Admiration

An Ideal Relation.
They live along the high way, (Marawi City to Iligan City) and their environment steal my eyes. I ask my hubby to stop by, for I like the flowers around that house. I have to introduce my self and let them know that my Primary grades were in the elementary school near to them. I relate to them how I love this place. After a short introduction, I was able to start on liking the flowers around their house. They rush to provide me but when our wheels refused, because the other plants were too risky, I promise to comeback. I was not able to see them again, That was 2006, October.
Every time I cultivated this plants, I can picture how ideal they are. Though they live alone, but filled with a healthy surrounding. This must be the reasons why their relationships as a couple never last. they spend their time in planting, and as they keep the plants to bloom, they stay like in their younger age.

Tiny Butterfly and the Cat
My garden is in the rear view of my window. With few steps from my bed, I can refresh my feeling and fill my heart with the scent of flowers.. It’s not a surprise to see butterflies in any gardens. They love to taste and smell the scent and tiny sweet drops of pollination. That is why we called them friends and great admirers of flowering plants.
I can not account numbers and kinds of butterflies in my garden. But I am akin to this big-black and red butterflies. Except, they become my friends. They visited sometimes in my bedroom. My mother has plenty of ties of all kinds and source in my bedroom. Every time she notice d those butterfly’s visit, she tied nylon or other kinds used for tying to hold all blessings that this butterfly may brings. ( it is a Maranaw Superstitious beliefs) I kept on believing too that in every entry of butterfly, another blessing will come. My garden’s existence served as my invitations to them, though it was not reveal, but I have also this beliefs. The relevance of these butterflies are, significance to me not only for my eyes but also in my heart.
It was my practice to write even just a few lines for my blog when I am not busy. One time, I notice one of our cats, (we have five cats at home) busy running and then jump and silence once in a while. Something must be foreign for this cat. I was not wrong indeed, for it was entertaining to watch a butterfly and a cat playing. I suddenly slip off my work and watch them closely. Initially, I find the butterfly to be clever, avoiding the cat. Finally, I confer that the failure of the insect to fly at a maximum is the initiative of the cat. The wing of the insect in the right side was partly damage. I initiate an effort to send the butterfly out. But the cat move even fasters than I am. He has the butterfly in full control. More damage to the wings and slowly thus, this butterfly manages to fly. Happily watching thus this cat has on the butterfly, its energy was tested. The cat lifted its right arms and tried to pull back the butterfly again, until its wings was fully broken.
I tried to hold my temper for I do not encourage this kind of behavior. The cat has slowly killed the insect. Though the insect endure to survive but the cat wants to take every effort and breathe of the insect. It was too bad for this butterfly to be a captive of sadist animal. Its chance of surviving was taken, until its last bit. If we encourage our children to act like human, contrary to this cat, we have to view to them the good side of helping people in need, rather than, dragging sufferings towards few. It is one of cat’s behaviors that I detest…killing its enemy in a most sensitive manner, watching every inch of chance and take its life.
Such is the morale that I viewed to my children. Never challenge a helpless opponent, for even if you win, you can not expect a reward. In a ring, weighing both boxers is required in order to have equal chance of winning. Its cowardice act to win in a helpless opponent. If you did, you will be the laughing stock of the entire community.
While, when there is a chance to save, take the necessary action before its too late, and if there is need to help, provide it before due time. It is not fine to keep watching, while you can provide remedy for the problem. But a similar person can afford to stare at a person crawling in hardship. I regret for the tragic incident met by that butterfly. If I did not allow myself to watch and finely entertained, I might save the life of the insect. But I was wrong! We must familiarize our children to take a step on need and help to the needy and helpless and mostly, do not allow your self to participate on playing ones life, for life once taken can not be replace any more.

Senior
The among them...Varique
This cat is the oldest among our cat at home. He is a male with approximately 13 and a half year of age. After my ovarian major operation, all our assets were sorted out and sold at half of their original price. We have to left at our residence and we resulted into a small scale business in the MSU-Main Campus. The students who always hang in our store save a cat that supposed to be an experiment of Bio students. Knowing our identity as pet lover, they present this cat to us.When we step forward and change our line of business into an Internet cafe' we took this cat with us. Since then, we were on and off staying in our residence but this cat is always there, waiting for our possible return. Presently, I have to be home permanently, for all my children are running our internet cafe instead, so retired as business woman and concentrate on my area as a degree holder. I am now on my way of exploring another endeavor in learning...and that is teaching as a profession and this cat is one of my companions at home!

Native Miming
We call this cat native miming because of her abnormal growth and fondness on her master. It was abandoned by owners, perhaps for luck of discipline. She is the top enemy of our the family member that is why she only recognized my girl as her friend and savior. And why? Because this cat is extra careless, she disposes every where and re urinate every where even in front of us at meal time, though she excuses our bedroom but I really hate this cat. I was tempted many times to throw this out but my daughter made a promise to clean every meas provided. When the master is out she hid as much as she can and show-up when it recognize the voice of her savior. This made her to stay longer, for though how strong I am to push her out, but I can not find her. So wise, that she has develop a medium to understand our dialect. When we say you go out, she will go.....and other instruction taught. She is as old as puti.
Rug to Riches
We went down Town Marawi City to buy some goods for daily consumptions. A stray cat steal our attention. While the fish vendor was busy assessing us for our purchase, the stray cat was too eating fresh fish on display. When we notice the extra talent of this cat, we all giggles. I appreciate her cleverness that made the vendors to misunderstand my remarks. He immediately sealed the plastic bag, entrapping the cat. This can be for you...Ma'am! He smiled and load another plastic bag with about half a kilo fresh fish as bring home of the cat. I was amazed, though I am not interested with the cat, but I know my only girl will be delighted.
When we arrive home we cleaned the cat by shampooing . She got a bit shinny but not complete for her life in the street cannot easily be change. Now she weighed more than five kilos and consume cooked rice as plenty as any man can. So lucky thus this cat that she has suddenly change from being a stray cat to a millionaire. My girl feel contented when she saw the cat out side and address her as having a morning sun beating. I can not understand other terms that my girl used in addressing her pets. This cat stayed with us for more almost 9 months and her age may range from 13-15 months old. This is the youngest among our five cats at home.
Athletic Figure
This is Puti (white), about two year old. We call him the athlete because of his figure. He is not fond of eating as others did. He only likes fish for food and milk, biscuits and bread will do. he was previously owned by my auntie, first cousin of my mother. She gave him to me for my daughter who is fond of adopting cats. His peculiarity is close to that of Intman. He can accommodate all persons who like him, unlike Intman, who nearly is untouchable. He can sleep with any body as long as a member of our family, but not to strangers.
थिस इस माय कटी Intman
This is my Cutie Intman
We found this cat when still a a kitten, perhaps abandoned by a master. She was I think, 40 days in age. She can't even locate her provided milk. We supported her with powder milk and our cat Puti, a male cat help us in caring her. Puti served as a mother and so they slept together. I found out that early endurance has much to do with her size. She is the smaller among our pets, yet very lenient and can easily comprehend. Since we adopted her, we have not found her improper waste disposal. She has to locate the provided comfort basin for them. Her peculiarity is too much choosy. She did not want to be played by other person other than us in the family. Mostly, she slept with me, never in a day could any one in the house force her to stay beside, especially at night. Through the power of her smell, she knew where my personal belongings are kept, and automatically slip and rest near to.
